Join us and be a part of this exciting activity when the Arthur Lok Jack School presents the Trinidad and Tobago Annual Corporate Governance Ranking from 9.30 am.

The University of the West Indies, Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business (UWI-ALJGSB)has partnered with the Caribbean Corporate Governance Institute (CCGI) to present the Trinidad &Tobago Annual Corporate Governance Ranking 2019.  The objectives of the study are intended to:

i.      improve voluntary disclosure practices to meet international standards

ii.     assess the level of compliance with the T&T Corporate Governance Code

iii.    encourage greater disclosure on non-financial information such as environmental, social and governance issues (ESGs)

The assessment was done by comparing information from the annual reports of listed companies with the principles of the Trinidad and Tobago Corporate Governance Code and with Internationally recognized Disclosure factors.

You are invited to the launch of the 2019 results which will be held on Thursday 10th October from 9.30 am at UWI-ALJGSB. The results will be presented followed by a panel discussion with Dr Ron Sookram, Team Lead of the study, and Mr Nigel Romano, Director of CCGI along with other panellists.
